The final words of Puccini’s “Nessun doma” translate to: “With the dawn, I will win.”

And so sang Maurizio Marchini, a famous Italian tenor who is emerging night after night to serenade Italy — and via social media, the entire world — with the gift of his music.

It’s hard not to feel the intense stirring of possibility and reinvention that comes with listening to the angelic voice of Marchini.

With the dawn, I will win.
