Corona Virus, which has now been upgraded to COVID -19, is everywhere.

The media reports new cases by the minute: a cruise ship has been quarantined, people are afraid to travel, and oil prices are down as “the world is being choked by the novel coronavirus that is racing unchecked across the globe.”

Lawmakers are providing hourly updates. People are wearing masks and giving fist pumps instead of handshakes.

Yes, it’s big news, and the sky is falling.

What exactly is Coronavirus?

It is a respiratory virus that may lead to severe breathing difficulties for some people, whereas there are no symptoms for others. But that’s the virus at its worst. It can be spread by anyone carrying it, but the mortality rate is still not alarming. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) reports that although hospitalization rates differ by age group, the severity indicators (hospitalizations and deaths) remain moderate to low.
