Reach more members with Data Quality

The first step to reach, activate, and inspire your members is to being able to reach them. You need to know how your members want to be reached, with which information and on which channel. Ideally, each member would always keep their own information up-to-date and you would always be able to rely on the information you have in front of you. However, managing member data at scale, verifying that information and sending personalizing messages is a massive data and communications challenge. We’re here to help.

Today we’re introducing Unaty Data Quality. Data Quality is now out of beta and generally available so you can reach more members and watch engagement grow.

Using Data Quality, our customers have already been able to make their Organizations GDPR Compliant, are able to reach 18% more members, and save time on making sure member information is up-to-date.

The three pillars of Data Quality

To make it easy for your organization to keep member information up-to-date, we added 3 Data Quality features to our community management infrastructure. On the free Unaty Platform, members can edit their own profiles, which admins can then view/manage.

Member Profile Verification: Each member in your Communaty now has a verification ‘status’ for their profile information — members can easily see their status by navigating to their own profile. Members can verify their own profiles by either clicking ‘Verify’ or by editing their profile. Admins can see each members verification status in the administrator area. Admins can also easily get an overview of which profile are up-to-date, when they were updated, and by whom.

Custom Contact Methods: Every member in your Communaty has complete control over how they want to be contacted. Members can choose through which emails they would like to be reached, and which type of information they would like to receive. For example, a Member can choose to receive general messages like meeting minutes and discussions per email, and event invites/updates per SMS. Admins can easily see how members like to be reached, and use the Engage Messenger to automatically send personalized messages on the channel members prefer.

Validation Actions: Admins can see if a members information is up-to-date, and if it isn’t they can easily take action without having to go through extra hoops. Admins can manually verify a profile, let’s say you met an older member and updated their information for them. Admins can also easily send a verification email to the member in question. That member receives a pretty email with his information laid out and has the ability to verify his profile or edit his information — saving admins time and money and giving them the peace-of-mind that the data they’re using is up to date.

Data Quality not only helps organizations keep member information up-to-date, reach more members, and personalize the member experience, it also provides benefits across your organization. Membership teams can keep new members in the loop. Leadership teams can personalize messages and create superior member experiences.
