So our first week with SOSV is over, the huge Asian accelerator that we’ve signed up with to turbo boost Unboxed’s presence in the massive Asian market.

It’s been an amazing, eye opening time for Tadas and I. And I’d like to share some of my thoughts from this rollercoaster first seven days.

SOSV is a huge international community, driven by such incredible minds as Sean O’Sullivan (founder of SOSV, entrepreneur, inventor and investor) & William Bao Bean (Managing Director of Chinaccelerator) It’s an ecosystem, you might say. And if you’re a part of that ecosystem, you’re offered the support you need by your fellow community members (or the chance to help out others in need). And what was a real surprise to me was how many teams from previous batches come here often to take advantage of the benefits you receive if you are part of the SOSV community.

Actually, I’m sure we’ll be no different and that we’ll return too. As welcomed guests to events & roadshows organized by the SOSV in the future, we’ll have continued access to a network of some of the best people out there.

Our first week at SOSV was mostly dedicated to analyzing and gaining new insights about how to best present ourselves and the company. This was really refreshing as it allowed us to leave the world of Blockchain/Crypto aside for a while and concentrate on the main value we want to offer — which is a working, profitable product. The week has also been a real crash course for us in understanding the needs of traditional venture capital. Having to approach our product from new angles forced us to really dig down into what our value propositions are. This has been invaluable for as it’s given us deeper insight into the full scope of the benefits that Unboxed has to offer.

It’s always important to be taken out of your comfort zone, and pushed to really examine your product and examine your business goals. We learnt so much about things we assumed we already knew, and we are sure that Unboxed is even stronger now.

Next week is shaping up to be super exciting. I can’t wait to be able to tell you about it.
