Over the past few months Unboxed has had one heck of a ride! Successfully expanding our business to Southeast Asia and Scandinavian Markets, becoming part of MOX — the world-renowned accelerator program for successful startups all the while continuously growing our client base and establishing a stronger position in the local market. I’m proud of the team behind Unboxed and our accomplishments makes me even more excited to think about the future.

Community has always been one of the cornerstones of Unboxed as the nature of our business is based on building trustworthy long-term relationships. That is not something we take for granted. However, growing the business and expanding its scope of activities is what most of our time has been focused on. Success has not been without a downside: maintaining an eagle eye on our daily work resulted in a lack of our social presence.

The clear feedback from our community clarified the need for a detailed update what we’re up to. We are incredibly stoked to have such a demand for the inside works of Unboxed! To have a community this involved means we are on the right track.

Our Airdrop has officially ended — thank you for participating! However, as you may have noticed, the crypto landscape has been falling short lately. And with the market steadily going down, we found ourselves in a position where we had to change our strategy. To ensure our community members that helped to promote our project would receive their well-earned reward, we had to think of a different approach.

It was clear, if we were to hold the ICO and to distribute tokens in the Q4 of the year as it was planned, due to the current state of the crypto market, it would not have held the same value as it was supposed to. And continuing the ICO project with the same intensity would have resulted in losses for everyone promoting our project as it would have been incredibly difficult, if at all possible, to retain the value of NBOX token.

To ensure our community members that helped to promote our project would receive their well-earned reward, we had to think of a different approach.

That’s why me and my team have decided to relocate our company’s resources from the ICO project to further development of our business. We strive to accelerate product development of Unboxed App — the industry-disrupting mobile app that will simplify the high-touch process of influencer search — and ensure that the product is mature when it hits the market before continuing building a presence in the blockchain industry.

Being confident in the idea were building, we look forward to the future ahead.

Though the future of ICOs is vague, the blockchain industry is still evolving and presenting new opportunities. The concept of Security token offering (STO) is gaining momentum and is believed to be the future of blockchain fundraising. Thus, we’re looking forward for certain conditions and exploring the possibility to launch one in 2019.
