Twenty-five years ago, JonBenet Ramsey, a six-year-old girl, had her life taken from her on Christmas night. Her last day on earth had been filled with gifts, family friends, and lessons on her new bike with her Dad, but her last night on earth was either a quick and brutal blow, or hours of torture that she resisted valiantly until it ended in her death.

Twenty-five years later, criminal and medical experts do not agree with each other on the most basic aspects of the case but almost all agree on one thing — justice for JonBenet Ramsey is now an impossibility.

Some say that JonBenet had half-moon marks on her neck — marks made by her fingernails as she tried to remove the garrotte that was strangling her — and others say that JonBenet was hit in the head before she was strangled.

Her head injury was so severe (her skull was broken in half) that all experts agree that it would be impossible for her to have been conscious and resisting her attacker after the blow to her head.

The sequence of injury matters greatly. If JonBenet was struck in the head first, it is plausible that there was an accident of some kind that caused her head wound and the rest of the scene was staged to suggest that an intruder had attempted to kidnap Jonbenet, molested her…
