On the heels of news of other supported platforms, we are thrilled to share with you that Dome9 now supports Google Cloud Platform. Dome9 GCP customers, in limited (beta) fashion beginning today, can now leverage the same agentless api-driven security intelligence that they have come to expect from other supported environments.

As the adoption of infrastructure as a service continues to increase, so too does the challenge of security and operations teams who are tasked with securing a constantly moving target. With cloud first policies becoming commonplace, organizations are encouraging all business units to consider and prioritize public IaaS over traditional data centre infrastructure. Each business unit or project team often represents a different level of cloud maturity and security experience, and the end result is that we have many administrators with different (and sometimes competing) experience, technologies, and responsibilities.

Security at scale is a constant challenge. Keeping pace with the complexity associated with a growing number of instances (VMs), services, accounts, regions, and ultimately use cases requires central supervision and active management of all of your IaaS efforts in one place. Dome9 is a SaaS delivered security orchestration platform that is purpose-built to deliver firewall / network traffic visualization and comprehensive compliance and governance capabilities associated with dependable security at scale in IaaS environments.

As Dome9 users navigate their GCP projects they can now leverage Clarity to identify network security risk associated with exposed data — intentional or not. Clarity makes it simple to immediately understand which data is publicly accessible on your network vs. that which is secured away from prying eyes.

Dome9 Arc is a suite of capabilities that speak to understanding the security detail and context required to make informed security decisions anytime. Ensuring that the infrastructure you manage with Dome9 meets your (or anybody’s) standards is the job of the Dome9 Compliance Engine. Measure your efforts across multiple cloud accounts against any number of criteria, even your own! With GSL, or Governance Specification Language, Dome9 users can write rules using plain english instead of complicated code, and anybody can understand them. Don’t know the syntax? Use the guided rule-builder interface!

Compliance Engine assessments can be saved over time to illustrate progress, or printed to be shared with other non-Dome9 users. Now, instead of being surprised by activity that may deviate from your desired state, leverage the Dome9 Compliance Engine to find it and fix it — fast!

Interested in seeing Dome9 support for Google Cloud Platform in action for yourself? We’re proud to be taking part in Google Next from March 8–10 at Moscone West in San Francisco. Come see us at booth #A20 for live demonstrations of the solution and a chat about what keeps you up at night from a public cloud security perspective.
