PAX, In Pictures

Some of My favorite moments at PAX Prime.

With PAX quickly approaching once again, I thought now would be a good time to share some of my favorite moments from years past.

No matter how many times I go, I’m still amazed at the vast size of the crowds that attend.

Some members of Plants Vs Zombies give an impromptu dance. These guys had some moves to die for. Yea, I went there.

Mario (and Starbucks) welcomes you to Pax. Everyone in town tries to appeal to the crowd. The Salted Caramel Mocha is actually pretty great though.

Free Hugs, gotta catch em all.

Firefall. One thing you can almost certainly count on every year at PAX. At least they stopped taking up half the convention floor.

Not really that unique to PAX, but it’s still kind of cool seeing life size characters like this everywhere. Parts of the exhibition hall almost felt like a museum.

Supergiant’s Amir Rao (not pictured), Double Fine’s Brad Muir, Twisted Pixel’s Dan Teasdale and PopCap’s Sylvain Dubrofsky discuss game development and prototypes.

One year Disney had artists on hand sketching characters to promote their sequel to Epic Mickey.

Giant Bombcast

Of course, you can always expect weird shenanigans at the Giant Bomb podcast panel everywhere. Like someone grinding on Brad Shoemaker.
