These new criminology and criminal justice studies were published recently by journals I monitor.

1. Military Sexual Trauma As a Risk Factor for Treatment Non-Response from an Online, Self-Management Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Treatment for Women Veterans, published in Journal of Interpersonal Violence.

2. Factors Associated With Experiences of Harassment or Abuse Among Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, and Asexual Young People With Disability in Australia, published in Journal of Interpersonal Violence.

3. Social Concern Theory and Family Violence Among Latino Families, published in Journal of Interpersonal Violence.

4. A systematic review and meta-analysis of procedural justice and legitimacy in policing: the effect of social identity and social contexts, published in Journal of Experimental Criminology.

5. Prison as a Space of Non-life: How Does a Typical Prison Sentence Intervene in What Really Matters to People?, published in The British Journal of Criminology.

I might cover some of these studies further in Understanding Crime. If one sounds interesting or important, let me know in the comments. Right now, I’m considering “Prison as a Space of Non-life.”
