These new criminology and criminal justice studies were published recently by journals I monitor.

1. Is the Party Really Over? Parties, Partisanship and the Politics of Crime, published in The British Journal of Criminology.

2. Strain, Anger, and Violent Behavior of South Korean Adolescents, published in Journal of Interpersonal Violence.

3. Aftermath of COVID-19: Exploring the Perception of Violence Against Women in the Middle East and North Africa, published in Journal of Interpersonal Violence.

4. How punitive is pretrial? Measuring the relative pains of pretrial detention, published in Punishment & Society.

5. ‘I’m his safe space’: Mothers’ Experiences of Physical Violence From Their Neurodivergent Children — Gender, Conflict and the Ethics of Care, published in The British Journal of Criminology.

I might cover some of these studies further in Understanding Crime. If one sounds interesting or important, let me know in the comments. Right now, I’m considering number 1.
