I just started UNDERSTATE as a new publication for Medium.
I started it as a necessity and — hopefully — useful contribution to the community of writers, thinkers and creators here.
I started it as a necessity to skim and filter all the good content that wouldn’t otherwise find proper space in other more traditional publications and risk to be lost under a sea of anonymous sameness.
The goal is to find and engage quality creators and thinkers and enhance their ideas on the platform. UNDERSTATE wants to be a place for innovators, alternative thinkers, independent and underground artists, narrators and all the possible shades of creative expression out there.
UNDERSTATE wants to be a place for quality content. A place that respect the reader. A place without clickbaits and empty listickles but long-form ideas.
Why UNDERSTATE? Because I think there’s a big underworld on Medium that needs to be explored more, a place made of independent thinkers that don’t fit in the regular categories but enrich incredibly the Medium experience.
