The greatest principle in life is that you get better at whatever you do consistently.

  • If you consistently make excuses, you will become very good at it.
  • If you consistently run, you will become good at running.
  • If you consistently speak, you will become good at speaking.
  • If you consistently dance, you will become good at dancing.
  • If you consistently make money, you will become good at making money.
  • If you consistently pray, you will become good at praying.
  • If you consistently lie, you will become good at lying. Second nature.
  • If you consistently write, you will become good at writing.
  • If you consistently read, you will become good at reading.
  • If you are consistently joyful, you will become good at creating joy.

Constant training

We are constantly training ourselves in one habit or the other. Our brain is always taking note of everything we do, feel, and say. Our environment — both external and internal — moulds our minds.

This isn’t the seedy underbelly of Medium, rather, a place to be a little bit blunt, almost bare faced. On display, will be a certain vulnerability that doesn’t come from being profound but from being unabashed. Unabashed about money, love, family and living in general.

I believe YOLO, but not in the hippie dare devil kind of way, although I am a bit of a hippie on most days, and I dare to go up against my fears often.
