The beta version of the Unibright Framework is now opened to the public
After we showcased our public demo at a meetup in Belgrade and also released a dedicated walkthrough on SAP integration, the beta version of the Unibright framework is now open to public use.
To get started, you can watch this video on how to use the Unibright framework.
Here are some short written explanations on how to use the demo — you’re just a few steps away from releasing your first smart contract without writing a single line of code!
1- Register on authentication.unibright.io
Click on “not registered yet”, enter email and password, and confirm the link in the following activation email.
2- Login on authentication.unibright.io
3- Create a Workflow Design
You are forwarded to the Workflow Designer on designer.unibright.io. Start by selecting the Multi-Party approval template and click “Open”.
Start Dragging elements to the artboard and connect them by clicking on one of the elements, the “link”-symbol and another element. You can activate the “help mode” on the top right corner to learn more about the elements. Validate and save your workflow design.
4- Create a workflow instance
In the Lifecycle Manager, import the design you just saved. Add emails to all approver nodes. From these email addresses you have to send the corresponding code for either positive or negative approval (see Step 6).
You can then save the workflow instance and publish it to the blockchain!
5- Check your instance in the explorer
On explorer.unibright.io you can find the workflow instance you just published under “Recently Created”. If the status is “Pending”, it means your workflow instance is now successfully published to the blockchain and waits for approvals.
6- Give approvals by Email
Send emails for approvals by sending from the account you entered at a specific approval, pasting the positive or negative approval code as a subject and send to demo@demo.unibright.io
7- Check the state updates
You can always check the updates in the Explorer. As soon as the workflow is finally approved, you will also see it here. You can double check the smart contract by opening it in a blockchain explorer (link on the right side).
Congrats! You finished your first blockchain based business workflow!
If you have questions, or have issues to report, please send an email to demosupport@unibright.io
Please have in mind, that a beta version is still under development and maintenance, so short down-times due to updates may occur.
