Unibright has come a long way since our ICO in May. If you’re not an active member of our community, the chances are that you’ll have missed some of our developments, which is totally unacceptable!

In this project update, we’d like to walk you through our journey since the Unibright ICO, talk about where the blockchain-business integration market currently stands, and announce our next steps for growing Unibright.

How We’ve Grown Since ICO

During our ICO, we were passionate about the need for a universal business-blockchain integration solution for many reasons. Needless to say, our enthusiasm hasn’t died down the slightest.

As was the case seven months ago, it’s simply too difficult for enterprises big and small to actually use blockchain technology. Nothing has changed in this sense — we still wanted a solution that could:

  • Automatically generate smart contracts from visual templates
  • Work with a variety of existing blockchains and off-chain systems
  • Cover all the essential parts of business integration: Definition, Implementation, Integration and Monitoring

And, just as we had promised back then, we’ve finished building our framework, published the much-awaited public beta, and are set to be product-ready in 2019.

How We See the Market

Since our ICO, the cryptocurrency market has followed an evident downtrend. As a result, the blockchain space as a whole has changed in certain ways, although it’s stayed just the same in others. We’re constantly reevaluating our position in the market to ensure we succeed, but there’s one roadblock that really sticks out.

That is, blockchain technology is still very much bound to the exciting and emotional cryptocurrency market in the heads of many. Especially when dealing with less technical business folk, we’re noticing that this creates some reluctance towards adopting blockchain in business processes.

We truthfully believe that cryptocurrency market volatility, exchange hacks, and coin-related regulatory concerns should play no role in slowing down blockchain-business integration. It’s only education that can prevent this, so we’re now starting our pitches by answering basic questions such as “what is blockchain?” or “how can blockchain improve your business?”

How We’re Moving Forward

As we noted above, there’s a severe lack of knowledge about the blockchain space that needs to be filled.

Instead of waiting for this to be resolved, we want to resolve it ourselves. With our extensive experience in business integration consulting services, we see that blockchain has impressive potential to improve existing business processes, and we’re not going to leave it to the world’s big consulting companies to demonstrate this.

That’s why we’ve decided to establish Unibright Solutions, a dedicated consulting service for those interested in learning more about blockchain technology. We’ll be offering an extensive choice of workshop packages, starting with a humble, one-day “hands-on” workshop and moving up to advanced workshops with process consulting, conceptioning and implementation. The packages will also include UBT tokens, allowing those who take part to immediately build Proof-of-Concept designs for blockchain implementations.

We’ve already trialed this concept with Deutsche Bahn Vertrieb — a distribution subsidiary of one of the world’s -largest transportation companies — and both parties have been extremely pleased with the results. We will publish the results of this collaboration in a dedicated blog post soon.

Not only will these consulting services allow us to expand the market for business-blockchain integration solutions, it will also give us a comfortable, alternative revenue source as the space matures.

Unibright offers a unified framework, bringing blockchain technology and smart contracts to mainstream usage. With its “no-coding-needed” approach, smart contracts get generated, deployed and updated automatically into different blockchains. Unibright works with visual, usecase-related templates and also automatically integrates existing IT systems into the blockchain.

Unibright Solutions, a dedicated consulting branch to support blockchain use in business processes, was additionally launched in December 2018.
