Who Are We?
With the dream of information democratization, we are a group of young, dynamic, enthusiastic and qualified university students who are totally volunteer to be pioneers and contribute to the “distributed ledger technology” and “blockchain” technology, which we encounter everywhere, instead of pursuing those innovations from one step behind.
Without any pecuniary expectation; we, 50 young and dynamic students from more than 10 universities around Turkey studying in varied areas (software, design, finance, law, etc.) are still expanding the scope of the community gradually. We make online meetings with our friends gathered from various cities every week to inform each other and make decisions.
Our Goal;
Among university students, our aim is to contribute to the development and dissemination of technology by organizing projects, trainings and events for the purpose of the development and utilization of Blockchain technology.
We do work to increase the number of the students who follow, learn, teach and develop the most recent technology and lead our country forward in this area.
What We Do;
This community in which we have joined together as volunteers, is trying to help every student who is passionate about Blockchain technology and wishing to get information in order to understand and make contributions. These people are expected to;
- Examine the starter-kit we have prepared in order to have a satisfactory knowledge about the nature of the blockchain technology,
- After reaching a sufficient level of knowledge, make contributions for the information chain by teaching other people what they have learned while continuing to improve themselves with current technologies.
In connection with the blockchain clubs in universities, we provide technical support corresponding to their requirements while also trying to fulfill the need of more Turkish resources both by translating foreign sources into Turkish and by producing original Turkish contents.
We are also developing softwares in a comprehensive way to both improve ourselves and contribute to the blockchain ecosystem.
We are making online meetings to share information among our members, and we share meeting recordings and notes with others so that those who are interested in this field can be informed as well.
In order to get more productive results in what we do, we keep track of up-to-date conferences, meet-ups, contests, hackathons and other similar events in the blockchain community as well as we ourselves organize meetings and participate many events to promote our community and reach out more people and institutions that might contribute and help us move even further.
What We Will Do;
We aim to present blockchain technology, to raise awareness and to inform the future brains of our society by making presentations and organizing events in educational institutions such as universities and high schools around Turkey.
The ultimate aim is to organize our own events and make conferences, hackathons and workshops so that people in the field can interact with each other in the most ideal development environment suitable for their productivity.
As Unichain, we plan to give mentorships to people and organizations with projects and ideas, providing software support during their development phase, and to create an online blockchain library by bringing together the most qualified resources about Blockchain.
While providing support to the university blockchain communities that are in the stage of establishment, we will carry out projects in which everybody can develop and learn especially if they have a common mission with our community and willing to participate us communicating with the institutions that may have a chance to support us.
We will strive to bring the Internet to a more free and fair position while supporting this technology to be presented in the most accurate way which we believe will become a shelter when destructive technologies are in place or will turn into handbrake for all the chaos and disparity, therefore being defender for our entire society.

For now, our community only accepts applications with member’s referral. It is enough to be a university student for the participation.
