Unification Welcomes New Head of Business Development, Larry Gandt of Ripple

Our new enterprise business development lead Larry Gandt, formerly of Ripple, lends his deep expertise in emerging blockchain technology to Unification’s bold effort to remake the world of data as we know it.
Meet Larry Gandt, formerly of Ripple
In his work heading up Unification’s business development efforts, Larry Gandt brings an impressive depth of knowledge of the blockchain industry, financial sector, and emerging markets. Larry’s focus on helping aging industries adopt new technological innovation makes him the perfect fit to lead Unification’s enterprise sales initiatives.
Larry draws on a twenty-year career of commercial experience working worldwide with financial technology companies. His experience in quantitative methods, compliance/AML, and blockchain technology makes him notable as one of the best and brightest in the business.
During his tenure as Sales Director for Ripple, one of the leading distributed-ledger projects of all time, Larry led the company’s expansion into the Latin American market. He was responsible for launching Ripple’s peer-to-peer blockchain technology in Latin America, and his effort to evangelize and sell new financial technologies to existing industries there led Ripple to $2.6 million in revenue in the first three quarters of 2018 alone.
Larry brings passion for blockchain and emerging markets to Unification’s growth strategy. When asked why he decided to support Unification’s efforts for data standardization, Larry cites his interest in helping Unification’s team shortcut the growth process and learn from the many hiccups the industry has gone through over the past several years.
