Unifi has accomplished quite a lot since launch, but this article will be focusing on development that is originating from within the community.

In order to encourage more participation from the community, Unifi has created bounties and grants for various utilities to be built on the Protocol. The first bounty was already claimed when a community member created www.mydefiyield.com to help uTrade users optimize their liquidity mining rewards. A number of other projects have since popped up, including a Pool Volume display, a community-built guide for successful trading on Unifi, as well as a Telegram bot that can post the most current stats and other frequently requested information for all the listings.

Recently, a large grant was created by Unifi for the development of an analytics page for key metrics on uTrade. It was not long before a member of the community submitted their proposal on this grant, dubbing it the Unifi Report. Although it is not yet completed, the site is open for browsing and currently hosting data on trading volume for each of the pools on uTrade. As outlined in the submitted proposal, this site will eventually contain a wealth of information and significantly more data points that will greatly benefit uTrade users and enhance the trading experience.

The Unifi Protocol was designed to provide the tools necessary to build the next generation of DeFi products, so it is truly gratifying to see this vision coming to fruition. Community developers are encouraged to monitor the Sesameseed gitcoin page for updates regarding bounties and grants.
