Hello Web Developers 👋

Learning web development can be a challenging and lengthy process. It’s common to feel overwhelmed and lose focus along the way. But don’t worry! There’s a fantastic free tool called Notion that can boost your productivity and keep you on track.

Notion may look like a simple note-taking app, but it’s much more powerful. When used effectively, it can supercharge your productivity by up to five times!

So we found five free templates that you can use to enhance your productivity. We have tried them out ourselves and think might be the right fit for you. These templates cover everything from tracking your learning progress to managing any issues that come up in your projects.

Use these templates and make your Web Development journey easy today!

Template 1: Tracking Your Learning Journey

Use this template for tracking the progress of your online courses.

How to use:

You can see the above table when you click on the default view. It is also the foundation for the rest of the views. The changes made in this reflect the other views. Change the source name according to your courses.

In the above image, you can see the Goals and Completed columns with numbers. Change the goal number according to need. I would recommend changing it number of modules in the course. If there are 10 modules put the number of modules in the goal and the number of modules you have completed in the completed column. The template then generates your completion percentage on its own.

You can track it more aesthetically in the other view types.

Template 2: Storing Your Resources

Use this template to store all your online resources in one place.

How to use:

As a web developer, you need multiple online resources, and keeping track of all these websites gets difficult. These templates help you store all the links to your resources along with the categories they come under.

Change the name of the categories and add relevant links and you will be good to go.

Template 3: Storing Your Codes

How many times have you searched Google for code that you used in a previous project and couldn’t find it? It was so close, almost within your reach, but now it’s nowhere to be found. Instead of facing this frustration, start saving your code using this template.

How to use:

Start saving your code in multiple programming languages using this template. Open one of the available codes and as shown in the image you can find multiple sections to store your code. Rename them as per your requirement and you will be good to go.

Template 4: Collaborating across Teams

Use this template to collaborate with your team.

How to use:

This template is straightforward to use. Just open the “By Status” section and add any changes that need to be made. It’s designed to help you collaborate with your teammates and keep everyone updated on the project’s progress. The best part is that each section has a clean and visually appealing layout with relevant information.

Template 5: Tracking Bugs

Use this template to track bugs in your software.

Use this template to add any bugs that occur in your software and share them with the team. It’s helpful because it provides sections for both problem information and the solution. It will come in handy, especially when the number of bugs is increasing, and you’re struggling to keep track of them. Make a copy of the rows and add your bugs, and you’ll be all set to use this template.
