Just to remind readers, this publication’s name is Citizen News Watchdog. This name was chosen because I am a citizen of the United States and I watch a lot of news. Some of the discussions, viewpoints, and ideas presented would be called uninformed or even wholly radical. Despite my bias towards an uninformed or radical perspective, Itry to be completely honest in these viewpoints and discussions.

The topic that I wish to discuss, as evident in the title, is the DOJ indictment. This significant event has brought attention to some leading commentators within the conservative/MAGA movement. It has been all over social media, news websites, and even YouTube commentators. With that being said, I think it is crucial to start off with the facts regarding the DOJ indictment.

As reported by Ja’han Jones, an author of an MSNBC article, right-wing social media influencers, and online platforms are scrambling because of the DOJ indictment. The indictment is toward two Russian influencers. The company being accused of having funneled money from Russian influencers is Tenet Media, which Lauren Chen and her husband own. Some of the commentators that were being paid, according to the indictment, is Tim Pool, Dave Rubin, Benny Johnson, and three others.

To add more context, it is important to utilize information from CNN ( Click here to read). It is said that ten million was funneled into Tenet media and dispersed into the commentators mentioned. The goal of the operation was to spread or fuel pro-Russian narratives by pushing content and news articles favoring the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

In case people wonder why I did not discuss both articles in full, the most pertinent part of this discussion stems from the highlighted facts above. That said, the glaring quote from CNN is the first thing to point out.

The goal of the operation, according to prosecutors, was to fuel pro-Russian narratives, in part, by pushing content and news articles favoring Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and others who the Kremlin deemed to be friendlier to its interests. — CNN

By the prosecutor’s definition, Glenn Greenwald, Russell Brand, Alex Jones (Infowars), Owen Shroyer, Mark Dice, Luke Rudowski (We Are Change), Jimmy Dore, and more could, by definition, be pushing “Pro-Russian narratives” because they post material which supports Trump. By support Trump, I should be clear that these commentators speak unfavorable to Kamala Harris.

Maybe those commentators and figures will be investigated for Russian funding next. If the bar for being a Russian asset, or even being investigated for Russian funding, is support for Trump, then that makes a whole lot of people targets.

Like I said earlier, my viewpoints might be uninformed or radical. So here is a radical/uninformed take. When supporing Trump, as a political commentator, means that you are now spreading Pro-Russian content, it really lays it on thick that there is only one acceptable choice for voting and reporting.

That acceptable choice is Kamala Harris. That becoming her political cheerleader is acceptable. Because once you are somewhat supportive of Trump, in other words, slightly critical of Harris, then you become a proponent of Pro-Russian asset, as mentioned by the prosecutors.

Let me conclude with a quote and an idea.. If the goal was for Russia to influence the election, then have they not already won? Because there are going to be some Americans who will stop watching content from the political right because “it’s Russian Propaganda”. There will be people who vote Kamala Harris because supporting/voting for Trump means allowing Russia to “win”.

But once you vote for Kamala to spite Russia, they have kind of already influenced the election. Cause you are voting to go against them which does not give you a choice-justYou are voting to go against them, one acceptable answer.

At Russian President Vladimir Putin’s direction, three Russian companies used fake profiles to promote false narratives on social media, US Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said in a statement. Internal documents produced by one of those Russian companies show one of the goals of the propaganda effort was to boost the candidacy of Trump or whoever emerged as the Republican nominee for president, according to an FBI affidavit. — CNN DOJ alleges Russia funded US media company linked to right-wing social media stars
