A story written by Yuichiro during the workshop we ran at IxD21

In a world where*
- People may look at travel/vacations differently and try to explore less photographed locations
- Location tracking is normal / technology used to map all visited locations in the world
- Cameras are expensive and are potentially seen as ‘luxury items. The more that are sold, the more redundant/obsolete they become.

How does a dining out experience look like?

Finding a restaurant to eat is difficult these days. In the past, it seems that there was a time when you were looking for a store by finding a place where photos are attractive on Instagram, but even if you look at the photos, there are only photos of past stores. Even if I go to a store relying on photos, the store often changes.
You have to hear from people or go to the place where the store is actually located to check.

Actual photographs are rarely used for food packaging. Since we can no longer take pictures in the studio, we now mostly show the image of the product by drawing illustrations and pictures.

That’s why the demand for painting is increasing. and I like to eat, and I draw food every day while having a delicious meal for free every day.

*the characteristics of this world were collaboratively defined by the team during the workshop. In the following article, you can find more details about the workshop activities.
