Manos E. Megagiannis Joins UNION as Infrastructure & Information Security Officer

UNION is pleased to announce that Manos E. Megagiannis, the Co-Founder and CTO of NIO Inc, will be joining the UNION team as our Infrastructure and Information Security Officer (IISO). Manos brings a wealth of technical security expertise to the UNION team, with a distinguished career spanning 30 years in software development, information security, LAN/WAN/datacenter architecture, computer forensics, and more.

Manos has served as the CTO for numerous companies dating back to the 1990s, including Totally Secure and Trump Mortgage and worked with several Fortune 500 firms, government agencies, tech startups, and SMEs. His expertise covers a broad spectrum of markets, including his pioneering efforts in the fields of network security tools, micropayment systems, trading platforms, network storage, and more.

Since 2015, Manos has worked with various startups in the digital ecosystem. His unique insights into the security and blockchain analytics side, combined with his pedigree in the private and public IT sector, is a valuable benefit for UNION’s compliance and information security goals. We’re excited to have him on board and welcome his breadth of knowledge analyzing blockchain data and deploying his acumen in infrastructure and information security.

Manos earned a BS and MS in Computer Science from City University of New York-College of Staten Island. His extensive career accolades include serving on the Board of Directors and Board of Advisors to the Homeland Security Foundation of America and Business Advisory Council, respectively. Manos regularly presents at major IT conferences, including I.S.S.A and Dark Web. He has been quoted for his work and expertise in several mainstream publications, including Forbes, Wired Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal.
