ELLA MAY LAUNCHES ARTISAN CANDIES IN DC STORES

Ella May Confections creates handcrafted, artisan candies and is launching in stores! They are expanding into grocery stores with new product lines featuring lollipops and fruit chews.

Founder Nicole originally started her business creating made-to-order candies for weddings and events. She used the same brittle, pralines, and taffy recipes that she had lovingly made as a child with her mother, grandmother, and aunt. After receiving great feedback from customers, she continued playing around in the kitchen developing recipes and products. While creating her products, she uses only whole ingredients and sources from local suppliers as much as possible.

Her new products incorporate fun, lively flavors, all with a hand-made touch. Look for delicious flavors like Mixed Berry, Orange Satsuma, and Strawberry Lemonade! You can find her new product lines at Union Kitchen Grocery and other stores around Washington, DC
