The final quarter of the year is just around the corner — can you believe it? We didn’t want to miss the opportunity to share some exciting updates we’ve been working on for the last couple of months! Below we’ll share details on the new compact discussions view, in-app notifications, and the Union API.

Compact Discussions View

Whether you’re looking for a particular discussion to join or you want to quickly scan the discussions in your community, our new compact discussion feature will help you do just that! This view will be the default once your community has 5 or more discussions, but participants are still able to toggle to the extended card view.

In-app Notifications Preferences

Keeping your community members and mentors in the loop is crucial, but each participant has their own preferences on how they want to receive updates from your community on Union. With this in mind, we have updated our notifications preference settings to include in-app preferences.

In-app Notifications: Recent and View All

Based on the preferences above, participants in your community can now receive real-time alerts on Union — updates to relevant discussions, reminders to share feedback and more. Each member of your community can also access a log of all past notifications on the new “All Notifications” tab in their Settings.

Union API

We are so excited to share with you the launch of our API — a more flexible option than our Zapier integration! The Union API provides read-and-write access to multiple endpoints, enabling your team to connect activity and data to your favorite 3rd party tools.
