Conversion rates are important to anyone running a business. Goal conversions were one of our most requested features and they’ve been a big driver of sign ups and upgrades since we released them.
Goals are great, but what if you run an e-commerce site? You probably care a lot about your e-commerce conversion because it relates directly to revenue! It turns out that a lot of Arc users happen to run e-commerce businesses and they wanted to know their conversion rates.
It took conversations with our users and a few revisions, but we came up with a solution that gives everyone their e-commerce conversion rates in a simple and understandable way!
Since Arc is trying to reduce information overload, we made sure that only users who care about e-commerce conversion rates see them. If you don’t have e-commerce enabled in Google Analytics, you don’t see e-commerce conversion rates in your summaries. Keeping it simple is always our first rule.
So that’s how Arc summarizes your e-commerce conversion rate without adding to your analytics overload! Another small change with a big impact 👊.
I say this every post, but we really take feedback seriously! Every feature we’ve released has started as a request from you. So, reach out with questions or suggestions! We’d love to hear from you. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or use the /arc-feedback command inside slack!
