Unique One Network Appchain updates for Q2 2022

Greetings UniqueOne friends,

We have just completed Q1 of 2022 and working hard towards completion of our goal towards launching a substrate application blockchain on the Octopus Network. In addition to the ongoing backend development, we have a lot upcoming in the next quarter and it is our pleasure to share some updates with our community and get them involved in the Unique One ecosystem.

Our developers have been working tirelessly on upgrading the Substrate from 3.0 to 4.0 to prepare for our mainnet launch.

Uniqueone’s candidacy towards becoming an Octopus Network Appchain and the launch of $UNET is already in the final stages of completion. We would be scaling our marketplace on NEAR Protocol to encourage more artists/creators and alike to share their work globally and reach more potential buyers/collectors of digital art, thereby creating its own sustainable ecosystem in an affordable way.

Moreover, the Octopus Network Appchains can utilize out-of-box IBC pallets to connect to any IBC enabled blockchains directly and trustlessly. This would enable interoperability between ETH and NEAR Protocol by utilizing the Rainbow bridge.

We also are aware of our community requesting the “Bulk transfer” feature and we have already added it to our pipeline of upcoming features. Moreover, to add icing to the cake, we would soon be coming up with curation and sponsorship for budding artists to encourage them and their work to reach a wider audience..

This leads us to the announcement of our upcoming mainnet IDO token ($UNET). Exact dates of the IDO will be announced as soon as the procedural steps are in place. Rest assured, ample time would be given between the announcement of dates and the actual IDO.
