As part of a pivotal moment in my career as talked about in my previous post, the idea of United Yeah, a creative agency was formed on a new found individual purpose. Like any good business, an individual purpose provides the motivation, but it’s a collective purpose that unites and creates something magical, something great. United Yeah isn’t great yet, we’ve only officially been open for business for a few months, but we are all in it together and will be in time, here’s why.

We are not conventional, not as in a throwaway line you see on a cred’s deck. We are fundamentally different from the traditional agency approach and model. We view the creative world differently and importantly as humans first. We’re people, we’re a culture, we’re a way of life and have the vision to be an agency of influence.

When developing the idea, we asked, after all our years in the ideas business, what makes it matter? It was the collaborative ‘fuck yeah’ moments and experiences. It was simple. This became our guiding principle, with our name being an outward expression of this”.

This simple premise flows through our entire existence. The gravity of it forces us to make every decision, every piece of creative, every conversation (ok, some are just for the pure enjoyment of sarcasm and coffee run banter), every relationship and every experience matter. Make it matter personally, for your colleague, for our agency, for our client, for the brands we create for and the companies that own them.

Our culture is built on four values, laugh often, keep it real, play as team and be daring. This ultimately encouraged us to be unconventional and approach the traditional client/agency relationship differently as discussed by James Anderson our GM. We bring our everyday lives and experience into the organisation and are richer for it.

Our clients are our partners in adventure, creation, failure and success. We genuinely unite with the people behind the brands we create, and cannot stress how important this is, as the bigger the idea, the more we all have to risk. 360 understanding and togetherness is critical in bringing a meaningful idea to life.

So what do we do? We build connected brands, campaigns & experiences. Our expertise is in strategy, creative, design, technology, content, social media and digital services. Fundamentally we integrate ideas with insight for ambitious brand to answer their ‘How do we?’.

I will continue to share our learnings, success and failures of our journey and as we grow. Until then…
