We spoke to some of our local team members to find out more about life at Unity London. Take a look to see what they had to say!

Describe Unity London in 3 words

  1. Homely
  2. Relaxed
  3. Growing!

What teams are based in Unity London?

The London office was originally built for our monetisation/ads (Operate) team. When it was built, it was so beautiful and popular that we now have over 80 (and growing) people, spread across more than 20 teams, from Artistry to Marketing and Sales.

What activities have you been part of at Unity London?

  • Last year (2022) we attended London’s 50th Pride Anniversary which was a lot of fun
  • We enjoy a regular Thursday social where we get together, order food, play games and meet the various teams based here
  • Through COVID-19 in lieu of in-person events, we had an array of Zoom events including a wreath making workshop, a terrarium building workshop and a candle making workshop

What are your favorite perks of the Unity London office?

The London office feels more like a swanky, penthouse apartment than it does an office. Our social area gives the vibes of a living room which makes for super relaxed catch-ups!

My favorite perk is our beautiful velvet booths for taking calls when our meeting rooms are booked up! They have a fantastic view of the shard and make you feel super regal in your zoom meetings. Take a look at the pictures of the booth and view below!

Where are your favorite local points of interest?

There’s unlimited things to do in London. One of my favorite spots is the South Bank which has amazing food markets and theaters (The National, Shakespeares Globe). It also has lots of museums nearby including the Tate and the V&A, as well as plenty of pop up bars/cafes/restaurants. And of course amazing views of London on the Thames! A short walk away you can find some of the world’s best nightlife in Soho, world class restaurants and shopping in Covent Garden, and some of the best clubs and music venues in the country in buzzing Camden.

What are the commuting options to Unity London?

The London office is a 4 minute walk from Southwark tube station, which connects you via the Jubilee Line. For the overground, we’re less than a 10 minute walk from London Waterloo or London Waterloo East.

We don’t recommend driving to the London office; there isn’t private parking and locally it’s insanely expensive — not to mention the traffic. We do, however, have plenty of bike storage for all which is situated safely beneath the building.
