Filled with laughter, stunning visual effects, and action sequences, Dungeon and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is one of the best films of 2023.
Based on the tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, a charming bard turned thief (Pine) and his band of misfits embark on an epic quest to retrieve a long-lost relic, but their heist goes wrong. Pine and his supporting cast carry the whole movie with their humorous screen presence, making every minute of the hundred and thirty-four minutes of runtime enjoyable.
When this film was being promoted, fans were excited, but some Dungeons & Dragons fans and movie fans were still determining if this movie would be excellent or mediocre just to cash in some box office money. Holywood has the repetition of having hits or misses in adapting famous video games, books, novels, and comic books. Some speculated that this movie might fail to impress the audience, but it works and knocks it right out of the park. This flick's mixture of comedy with action and fantasy is near perfect and worthy of your time.
