Welcome Scriptors,
Are you a passionate writer who loves writing about books, video games, movies, and television series? If yes, Binge Scripter is the publication for you. We are a growing publication looking for writers who can contribute their work related to books, video games, movies, and television.
Please note that to write and submit work to Binge Scriptor, you must have an account on Medium and be a Member. Guest writers outside of Medium will not be possible.
If you're not interested in becoming a writer for Binge Scriptor, no worries! I'd still like you to read this article. The rules and guidelines I provide here apply to many other publications. Additionally, I've included guidance on using images and writing standard book/movie reviews. Let's get started with the binge!
What Kind of Articles We Will Publish?
Books
Reviews and essays on all kinds of books. Do not just give your opinion on the book; analyze it and discuss your connection.
Video Games
Reviews, essays, and commentary on various video games.
Movies
Reviews, essays, and commentary on various movies, including documentaries.
Television
Reviews, essays, and commentary on various television series, including documentaries. You can write about a particular scene, an episode, a season, or the whole series.
What We Will NOT Publish?
We will not publish any content that is misogynistic, racist, homophobic, violent, or demeaning or articles with a doubtful copyright.
As a writer, you must provide constructive criticism and avoid being hateful or demeaning.
Tags
We would like to display it under the appropriate tab on our Publication. Please select the most appropriate tag for your submission. If no suitable tag is found, we will assign one based on our judgment. Refer to the category tags below:
Books: books, book review
Video Games: video games, video game review
Movies: movies, movie review
Television: television, television review
You can have up to five tags for each piece. Please add “binge scriptor” as your final tag.
Who Owns My Work?
When you submit your work to Binge Scriptor, you confirm that you are the material's rightful owner and have the authority to publish it on Binge Scriptor. By submitting your work, you grant Binge Scriptor permission to publish it, but only with mutual agreement between you and Binge Scriptor. It is important to note that you are solely responsible for the content of your pieces.
Images Credits
It is important for you to cite sources for the images you use in your articles. Place a header image on your work directly beneath your title block to add a cover image.
If you're submitting a lengthy article, it's beneficial to break up the text with additional images at appropriate intervals to give the reader's eye a break.
Please ensure that you properly credit the source for every image used. If you use an original photo, kindly add a caption to clarify it. Additionally, we suggest you add Alt Text captions to enhance users' reading experience listening to audio files.
Make sure the image quality is good and not watermarked. Please DO NOT use images of firearms.

How to Get Added as a Writer?
- You have to be a Medium Member.
- Follow the publication.
- Indicate your desire to become a writer by leaving a comment on this article with your username.
- Please read each other’s work. That is how the publication and articles will grow.
How do You Submit the Draft after being Added as a Writer?
Once you have been added as a writer, you can submit your draft to the publication by clicking on the three horizontal dotted button to the right of the green “Publish” button in the top right corner.
Select Binge Scriptor and then submit your draft by adding the tags.
- We have only a few editors who have full-time jobs and school. Please be patient.
- Please make sure “Private Notes” is ON in your account settings. We will leave feedback and scheduling information for publication on a private note.
- Please submit up to one article a week.
