In the wake of this celebratory occasion, the Russo brothers have come forward, revealing about the true spirit which triggered them to make this movie possible in every manner.

Recently, Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo, collectively known as the Russo brothers took to their Instagram page to share the life changing vibe that they witnessed during the making of this particular film named ”Cherry.”

What do the Russo brothers have to say about the movie ”Cherry”?

“Making Cherry was one of the best experiences of our careers. This film is a labor of love that we hope extends into a wider, vital conversation around empathy. Everyone that had a hand in making Cherry, know that you are close to our hearts, and we cannot thank you enough for your brilliant work. We hope you enjoy the film….now available on @AppleTV,” says the post.

They addressed the film as a labor of love which is rooted in empathy. They also took a moment to thank each and every exuberant soul who worked day in and out for the birth of the movie ”Cherry.”

Earlier, the duo had announced that their movie ”Cherry” has been chosen for American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) nomination, which is indeed a matter of self-exaltation.

The trailer of the movie ”Cherry” on Apple TV is as follows:

Tom Holland, who is making wonders with his recently released movie ”Chaos Walking” plays the titular role in the movie Cherry.

Directed by sibling filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo, “Cherry,” based on Nico Walker’s mostly autobiographical debut novel, is filled with “Dr. Whomever” flourishes, announcing that this film will be a little different from the Russos normal fare (those little-known films like “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Captain America: Civil War,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Avengers: Endgame”). The movie extensively deals with the life of war veterans and the disgraceful treatment that they are put through upon their return home. The Russos are deeply embedded in the Marvel universe, and “Cherry” is the opposite in almost every way possible, not just because of its subject matter — a blistering critique of the Iraq war.

The film stars Tom Holland, Ciara Bravo, Jack Reynor, Michael Rispoli and Jeff Wahlberg, and follows an Army veteran who resorts to robbing banks to support his opioid addiction. It was originally released in theaters on February 26, 2021, and is now out digitally on Apple TV+ on March 12, 2021. The film received mixed reviews, with critics praising the performances of Holland and Bravo, but criticizing the screenplay and direction.
