Bridgerton: The Musical, a fun Tik Tok video by Abigail Barlow and her partner Emily Bear seems to have received a wider momentum right from its inception. In the wake of several suspicions concerning when and what is to be expected from ‘Bridgerton Season 2,’ the release of this fun musical by the duo has been of a great relief and energy booster to all the Bridgerton fans out there.

After writing and composing 2 viral hits such as “Oceans Away” and “I Burn For You,” Abigail, 22, and Emily, 19, felt inspired by the fan feedback and composed and produced 15 songs based on the characters and scenes from the popular Netflix drama.

Recently, Abigail took to her Instagram post to share her happiness and emotions concerning the huge load of support that they are experiencing after the release of this song. She also revealed the true story behind the creation of this musical video.

‘Bridgerton: The Musical’ is indeed a gem!

“That feeling when u wrote a musical for fun and it actually changes your life,” says Abigail.

According to a recent report, it says that after binge-watching Season 1 of Bridgerton, Abigail felt inspired by the dialogue and called up her friend Emily, who just so happens to be an award-winning composer, to write music together. The women, who call themselves “super fans” of the series, composed the music, using fans’ responses to their work as inspiration, and more.

Bridgerton is an American streaming television period drama series created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes. It is based on Julia Quinn’s novels set in the competitive world of Regency era London’s ton during the season, when debutantes are presented at court. Bridgerton is Shonda Rhimes’s first scripted Netflix series.

Bridgerton premiered on Netflix on December 25, 2020. The eight-episode first season was met with positive reviews. With a viewership of 82 million households, it has become the most-watched series on Netflix. The series reached #1 in 76 countries on Netflix. In January 2021, the series was renewed for a second season.
