To purchase our Universal Protocol Token (UPT) during our ICO, you can pay in many different fiat and crypto currencies if you are investing at least $7,500. Otherwise you will need to have an ERC-20 compatible wallet. We recommend using your own private wallet, as using an exchange wallet may cause the loss of all the purchased tokens.

Beginning on Thursday March 7th, you can now participate in the Universal Protocol’s ICO, and purchase UPT, our underlying utility token behind the UP Platform. With the UPT token, blockchain users will be able to perform trades with our other universal tokens which represent real world assets.
Step 1: Identity Verification
The first step of the process involves standard KYC. We are just proving your identity at this point.
Step 2: Residency Verification
After this, you will need to confirm your address and place of residency.
Step 3: Document Verification
The last step in our KYC verification is proving who you are with official documentation. If you use your passport, it is instantly approved if it is a valid passport. The other steps may take more time before your account is confirmed.
Step 4: Funds
At this stage of the process, you need to determine how much you would like to contribute towards your purchase of UPT.
Once you reach this window, you will need to fill out specific details about what type of currency you are using, and how much you are going to deposit. You will also need to enter your source of funds, and your Ethereum address where the UPT will be deposited.
There are two important things to know about how much you choose to invest. If you choose to invest more than $5000, they will also be asked to include proof of the source of funding.
Additionally, if you choose to invest more than $7500, you will have the chance to invest in the crowd-sale with other currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, BTC, XRP, LTC, DASH, BAT, LBA, BTG and BCH.
Step 5: Purchase Your UPT
Now that your identity has been verified, you can access the Dashboard in Universal Protocol. Here, you will be able to copy the addresses to make your purchase.
At this point, you will then log in to your private wallet and send the funding to the Universal Protocol Contact Address copied from the above image. After you perform this action in your private wallet, you will receive your UPT, per the terms of sale. Please, use a private wallet to receive your funds. Using an exchange wallet may cause the loss of all the purchased tokens.
