With his college career done, it’s audition season for London Perrantes. The process begins this Friday, as he’s been selected to play for the East team in the Reese’s College All-Star Game. Like a lot of the postseason college football all star games, this game is for solid college players that aren’t likely to be drafted domestically — there aren’t a lot of likely NBA names on these rosters. Anthony Gill played in the game last year, parlaying a 15 point, seven rebound performance last year into interest from NBA teams and a guaranteed deal with Yesilgiresun Belediye in Turkey.

London — who joins Bryce Alford of UCLA as probably the most high profile college players in the game — will team up with some familar faces in Notre Dame’s Steve Vasturia, Lehigh’s Tim Kempton Jr., and former Wake forward Tyler Cavanaugh (late of George Washington) on the East squad, where they’ll play for Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner.

The game airs at 5:35 pm on Friday (perhaps the absolute worst time to air a sporting event) on CBS Sportsnet. I don’t advise watching this on your phone while driving home from work, but I can’t tell you what to do.
