Emily Dufton Ph.D., is an ACLS Public Fellow at the Center for Public Integrity (CPI) and is serving as its Engagement Analyst. CPI is one of the country’s oldest and largest nonpartisan, nonprofit investigative news organizations. Dufton recently visited the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. She spoke with Professor Ann Christiano’s Public Relations Strategy Summer A course about her work to increase online engagement for CPI.

During her time in the college, Dufton worked with students to think through their course projects working with clients to improve engagement with an organization’s digital newsletter.
