Hoping to make the most of your years on campus? We asked New Student Enrollment orientation leaders for their top bucket list items and here’s what we gathered:
- Experience Husker Football game days
- Eat at Selleck Dining Hall
- Attend your teacher’s office hours to build some professional relationships on campus
- Go to a Husker Basketball game
- Get a sweet treat at the East Campus Dairy Store
- Explore Downtown Lincoln
- Watch the campus squirrels
- Take a class you find fun, rather than just for a major
- Take a road trip
- Go bowling on East Campus
- Get a dessert from Gretchen at Cather
- Grab a friend and try a group fitness class at the Rec!
- Attend a club fair
- Go to a volleyball game
- See a show at the Lied
- Find your favorite coffee shop
- Rent equipment at the Rec and go camping or hit the lake
- Study at The Mill
- Explore some of the 160+ parks in the city
- Eat the best burger at Leadbelly
- Memorize the lyrics to Tech N9ne’s “Red Kingdom”
- Visit the Nebraska History Museum (free entry with N Card)
- Take a picture with Herbie or Lil’ Red
- High-five Archie the Mammoth during exam week
- Attend a concert at The Bourbon Theatre
- Visit the Dairy Store on East Campus.
- Attend the Street Festival
- Study in Love Library during finals week
- Go to a Husker volleyball game and football game all on the same day
- Take a picture outside in the exact same spot for each season
- Join an intramural sports team

- Get involved in an outside non-profit or organization
