Engineers without Borders

The university’s Engineers Without Borders chapter partners with communities to work on “environmentally sound and economically sustainable engineering projects” that have the power to improve the quality of life. Developing their own engineering skills in the process, Huskers have installed solar panels in schools in Kianjavato, Madagascar and raising funding to construct a bridge over a river in the Zimba district of Zambia that can become deadly during the rainy season.
