The HCDE Alumni Leadership Board’s mission is to foster alumni and student community, build career connections, and provide industry skill-sharing outside the academic curriculum. Through a variety of deliverables ranging from events to evergreen content, the board works to further the HCDE and UX community in Seattle and beyond. The board activates talented alumni who have a desire to give back to the next generation of HCDE graduates and build the HCDE network for years to come.

Over the past three years, the HCDE Alumni Leadership Board has been serving a critical role in engaging the alumni community via several initiatives, such as hosting continuing education events, supporting alumni through mentorship, publishing articles on Medium, starting a Slack community, organizing coffee chats, keeping the alumni community informed with quarterly newsletters, and supporting the HCDE department by engaging in capstone project reviews, portfolio reviews, application reviews, and other curricular objectives for the department. I’d strongly encourage you to check out these resources if you haven’t already.
