UniChain has successfully switched to version 2 on Monday, November 1, 2021 12:00:00 PM (GMT). The hardfork occurred when the network collected 30/33 votes from witness nodes (There were a total of 33 votes but 3 votes were from inactive witness nodes).
Users can now try the UniChain version 2 features including future sending, native token URC30 … in wallet-cli. Other softwares such as explorer, wallet, witness tool … will be updated to version 2 soon.
UniChain team and Samurai Lab from UniWorld would like to thank all the witnesses that has understood and approved for hardfork proposal. Without those approvals, the hardfork cannot occur.
