Veep…is that how DC really is???

One of my biggest guilty pleasures Is HBOs Veep. When ever I am in like the worst mood I turn Veep on and laugh so hard. I think the best part about this show is that we really dont know whether DC and politics is actually like that (crude, swearing, crazy backstabing ect) or if its what is portrayed showing good sportsmanship, actually caring about issues not just saying them to get votes and one long day of swearing.

In reality we have to asume that to get something you have got to give something sign a bill to have your bill sign whatever. The Veep takes this deep dive into getting what you want at no costs. It also portays the vice president as having little to no real power (i mean except being president of the senate.

One of the greatest things is you see that the ones really running the show are the staff. The canidate has no strategy skills and to be honest you start to wonder whether they even know how politics work. Brutal truth is also seen on the show which actually makes it even more funny.

So if you have HBO and need a pick me up watch Veep. You will love it or who knows be real offended by it. Either way it will get a reaction out of you and question the inner workings of politics.
