The statue my teammates are looking at is of Robert Peel: a former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during the mid-1800s.Famished from our day of travel, our first stop is an adorable coffee shop. We order a variety of refreshments, however the most popular choice was a pot of traditional Scottish tea. Finally, we discover a refurbished lighthouse in the middle of town. We take the hike up the never-ending spiral staircase and discover an astonishing view of Glasgow. My teammate Hannah smiles in awe of the city’s wondrous, historically-rich architecture.
