College From a Different Point of View

Views of campus at CU Boulder. Sabrina and I are both in sororities, so we love visiting other campuses’ Greek Houses.

CU Boulder has a street where they hang tennis shoes from the electrical lines. We think it’s a unique feature to this campus.

The picture-perfect view of the mountains behind Boulder, Colorado. This parking garage is located in the heart of downtown Boulder.

Sabrina, Hannah, and I hiking up to the top of the Bluffs Regional Park Trail in Lone Tree, CO, a slightly difficult, yet enjoyable walk in nature.

Sabrina and I making a quick stop to take a picture of CU’s Theta house because Sabrina is in the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at Unl. Next stop, the top of a parking garage wehre we find a picture-perfect spot of an amazing view of the mountains.

A quick trip to Colorado. I decided to visit my favorite state with one of my closest friends to celebrate the end of our internship. On day 1, with the idea we were going to travel to Breckenridge, CO, my friend Sabrina and I entered Breckenridge into our GPS only to find out it was a 2-hour drive from our location. We made the quick decision to travel to Boulder, CO instead due to the travel time being only 1 hour. We plugged the location into our GPS and went on our way. Upon arrival, we discovered CU Boulder and decided to take a look around. We discovered their campus was definitely different than ours as we wandered around trying to locate every single sorority and fraternity house. The campus and buildings were gorgeous. Each house was unique in their own way and some were structurally better than others. Their campus had a location called University Hill which featured many cafés, bars, and shops. We stopped by The Point Café, and then hurried back to the car to explore.

After driving around the city for a bit to find the perfect location for Instagram pictures, we discovered downtown Boulder and headed toward a parking garage to begin exploring. The garage was almost filled and we ended up at the top of the garage where we discovered the perfect place for pictures. After a quick photo-op, we decided to head back to our Airbnb in Castle Rock, CO.

To end the day, Sabrina and I met up with her good friend from her sorority, Hannah. Hannah lives in Lone Tree, CO but goes to school at UNL. She took us on a quick hike around the Bluffs Regional Park Trail where we got to see an amazing view of Lone Tree with Denver far off in the background.
