Exploring Nature

Sabrina and I exploring the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO. This historic landmark has incredible views.

The gorgeous views of the Outlets at Castle Rock. This mall is one of my favorite places to shop.

Sabrina and I enjoying the views while hiking up the side of a mountain in Perry Park, CO. This smaller mountain is in the Country Club area of Castle Rock where our AirBnb is located.

Sabrina and I began day 2 bright and early and loaded up the car to head to Colorado Springs. I wanted to show her the Garden of the Gods, a beautiful natural park. We enjoyed exploring the park, stopping to take many pictures and videos of our adventures. We even stopped by the Garden of the gods’ Trading Post and picked up some souvenirs.

Our next stop was in Manitou Springs, a small town on the edge of Colorado Springs. We were only there for 30 minutes but enjoyed wandering around the downtown area, viewing the historic buildings and art. I enjoyed viewing the vintage arcade games and peering into the little shops lined up on the street.

After stopping at our Airbnb for a quick lunch, we ventured off to the Outlets at Castle Rock for a quick shopping trip. We ran through the stores, watching rain downpour outside. This is by far my favorite outlet mall due to the gorgeous architecture of the stores.

After dinner, we went for a “quick” walk around the neighborhood we were staying in. This lead to us discovering a trail that leads up the side of a mountain. We ended up walking most of the trail and enjoyed an amazing view of the country club and Castle Rock.
