Houses of St. Andrews

The houses in St. Andrews, Scotland caught my eye as I was walking through the city. This house, in particular, was one of my favorites as the greenery made it attractive to the eye. It overlooked the St. Andrews Castle along the shore of the ocean. The house was captured on June 16th.
This house door was one that was unique and different than many others. It was one of the few houses with a white door through the city of St. Andrews. On the door sat a sun that drew in my eye. It was next to many houses with blue doors and brick which allowed it to stick out along the alleyway.
The blue front door was a common piece to many Scottish houses in St. Andrews. Many of the houses included brick with a blue door. This house gives a good representation of the style of housing found throughout St. Andrews. It sat across from storefronts on a busy street.
The full architecture of this house was much different than all of the other houses. It sat allow on a corner overlooking the St. Andrews Castle and shoreline. The house was one of the few that was not squished between two others. The shaping of the house was intriguing along with its own light pole.
