Stirling Castle

We’ve been traveling into Glasgow and Edinburgh all trip, but finally we’ve had the chance to visit the great sites that are right in our backyard. The Stirling Castle is places on top of Castle Hill and overlooks all of Stirling. There’s important history behind this castle, as it became the royal residence and powerful stronghold. This castle severed as the childhood home to Mary Queen of Scots and her son, James VI.
