Stirling Wonders

My teammates and I decide to explore our home, Stirling, Scotland. The above photo is the Queen Anne Garden. The Vibrant colors of the flowers capture my attention and I am instantaneously drawn to find out more. From the 1400s onwards, the royal family could enjoy this formal garden close to their chambers. The area may have also been for playing games. By the 1600s, it was known as the Bowling Green.
The odd shapes on this green land is a jaw dropper. It is the Stirling’s Royal tournament yard. These fields once rang with the clash of armored knights. The green field is now a memento of the men who gave their lives to entertain the spectators who watched them.
