Anton Valkov — Partner
“The quality of conversations does not only shape our organisations’ daily life but also their strategic direction.” — Anton Valkov
I am a process host and facilitator with more than 10 years of international experience in business, non-profit and public sectors. The focus of my work and research is on the impact of conversations and people’s participation in organisational results. As a leading practitioner of the global Art of Hosting network in Bulgaria and co-founder of Open Space Collective, I apply participatory leadership methods to various projects, especially in sustainability and education multi-stakeholder processes. I am also co-owner of the creative event space & cafe Otsreshta. Outside of work you can find me walking my blue-eyed husky or training for the next marathon.
“The participation in the intrapreneurs weekend hosted by Anton gave me indepth look at new concepts, the opportunity to apply them in practice and to meet like-minded people. It was a very important step towards making my ideas happen, it gave me view of the path ahead but also tools how can I walk it. I’m happy I’ve built the foundation I was missing.” — Alexander Efremov, Associated Professor, Technical University Sofia
“Anton has greatly supported EMIC’s ambitious educational initiative with his hosting and facilitation skills on our strategic meetings. The project involves a diverse group of stakeholders — business, high schools, universities, NGOs, independat consultants, that makes it especially challenging for building shared vision and plans. Anton managed to create a space for meaningful connections, honest dialogue and effective collectivel decision-making.” — Stefan Apostolov, Member of the Board, Electric Vehicles Industrial Cluster
