With more than 30,000 people, Halden is one of the municipalities with the highest population density in Norway. For Halden, it is critical to continuously integrate new solutions that make everyday life easier. With Unloc as a partner, Halden can use digital keys to safely and efficiently deliver health care and home services.

Halden aims for their city to be a safe place to live throughout life. To achieve this, Halden offers a range of home care and welfare services. The municipality has four nursing homes and a health center with different housing facilities customized for the citizens' needs.

Halden was early to identify and respond to the rapidly increasing demand of care for elderly and disabled people. Now, people can be and feel safe while staying longer in their own homes.

Together with Halden, we want to ensure a simpler everyday life for those who strive a little extra and need customized services.

Today, Halden already offers a range of services for their citizens. Some of which are transportation, cleaning, dishwashing, garbage handling, food delivery, purchasing of goods, laundry and personal care, to name only a few. These are basic home tasks that are essential for the household. The purpose of these services is to assist people with living their own lives for longer — in their own home. In addition, Halden offers personal home care, a 24-hour service that provides care and guidance to home-sufferers and disabled people.

Unloc is focusing on creating more freedom with open doors. Now, doors can be opened for nurses and emergency aid. Help can safely and effectively reach those in need, and more time is made available. Time that can be spent on what really matters.

We are extremely proud to be involved in this project, and look forward to develop the future of home services together with Halden and our growing ecosystem of service providers. We will make life easier for everyone with a front door.
