Welcome Aksel Dybdal to Unloc

Aksel Dybdal is a creative and senior software engineer, specialized in Apple's developer domain. Having created Enterprise and Consumer apps for large clients such as Finn, NAF, Posten and Securitas, he has developed a unique understanding of how to build something people love.

With a Bachelor of Arts from NTNU Gjøvik and a Mobile Creative Apps program from Hyper Island, Aksel learned from the get-go how valuable it is to work closely in cross-functional teams.

Both August (CTO) and I have previously worked together with Aksel, so we know each other really well. We all share the same idea of how to build a healthy and sustainable organization, and believe that it is extremely important to build and maintain a creative company culture.

Software developers are usually evaluated on a scale from junior to senior. A junior developer is expected to perform tasks. A senior developer, however, is expected to continuously follow a more scientific method and thoroughly evaluate consequences and effects of such tasks. Moreover, a senior developer is typically more autonomous, and knows how to effectively get things done. These are vital qualities for us as a growing software startup.

Aksel will join Unloc as a Senior Developer.

He will bring his world-class experience from having developed many of the highest valued Norwegian apps to date.

While Unloc supplies the rapidly increasing demand for digital keys, we must also be able to retain delivery quality. This is incredibly hard. Aksel will help us focus while building a planetary scalable platform.
