Yan-Chen Caren Østengen is a passionate supply chain professional with 10 years of global logistics industry experience. She was a senior project manager of the department of strategy and business development at Posten, and now serves as a Managing Consultant at Capgemini.

Yan-Chen has been active in the fields of Supply Chain, Goods Transport, Process Engineering, Route Planning and Simulation, Warehousing, Offshore Logistics, Port Operations, Fleet Chartering, Ship Building and Fabrication, Manufacturing, Project Procurement, Cold Chain, and Medical Supply.

She has hands-on experience of managing large projects and teams through digital transformation of logistics and supply chain.

Having priorly studied and worked in China and USA, Yan-Chen have developed a unique understanding for global business, culture and communication. She earned her Masters degree in Business and Economics, Logistics and Supply Chain Management from BI Norwegian Business School in 2008, and a B.Sc in Marketing, Business and Administration from University of Macau in 2003.

Yan-Chen will join UNLOC as the Chair of the Board.

She will bring her experience from developing strategy and business at large corporations with strong focus on quality, safety and sustainability.

As UNLOC grows into becoming a commercial platform for sharing digital keys, the company must be able to make good decisions, quickly and steadily. Yan-Chen will guide us to fit our service to the market, help us understand our customers’ value chains, and ensure that UNLOC builds and remains a trusted brand.
