Official or unofficial, all are welcome
Unofficial Economist is a place for smart and thoughtful writing on pretty much any subject. While ostensibly focused on economics, any and all are welcome to contribute. Write about what you’re passionate about, make that come through in your writing, and we’ve got a good fit.
The only guidelines are that pieces should be:
- Your own work
- Well-researched
- Anti-oppression
- Non-fiction
- Accompanied by a high-resolution photo
Publishing with the Unofficial Economist will share your writing with the publication community (an awesome group of smart, badass humans), establish you as someone who engages deeply with their area of expertise, and provide a space to gather your thoughts on an issue and receive feedback on your writing.
